《Nishikigoi》 Living Jewels & Swimming Art

Nishikigoi, often referred to as “living jewels” or “swimming works of art,” embody Japan’s rich tradition of beauty and craftsmanship. This collection captures these living masterpieces through a Japonisme-inspired lens, blending contemporary and kitsch elements into photographic art. 黄金の錦鯉

中国には「鲤鱼越龙门」という諺がある。黄河を登っていた鯉が竜門を飛び越えて竜になったという伝説で、職業において成功を手にした人や、ポストの昇進の面で大変運の良い人のことを表現される。

黄金の錦鯉は、黄河からの魚の意を成し、最高運到来を意味し特に人気が高い作品となっている。

《Golden Nishikigoi》

In China, there is a famous proverb: “The carp leaps over the Dragon Gate.” This legend tells of a carp that swims upstream in the Yellow River and leaps over the Dragon Gate, transforming into a dragon. It symbolizes great success in one’s career or a fortunate rise in position.

The Golden Nishikigoi represents a fish from the Yellow River, embodying the arrival of supreme luck. As such, it is one of the most sought-after pieces in the series.
