富士山をライフワークの一つとして長年撮影してきました。その中でも、2006年2月の厳冬期、凍りついた精進湖で日の出の瞬間を待っていた際に撮影した奇跡の一枚、『レッドドラゴン』は、特に印象深い作品です。
富士の裾野に立ち上る真っ赤な雲がまるで龍のように形作られたこの作品は、幻想的で神秘的な情景を捉えたものとして高く評価され、国内外の多くのコレクターにオリジナルプリントが購入されています。
この撮影をきっかけに、幻想的かつ神秘的な雲をテーマとした作品を撮るようになりました。

Masaaki Miyazawa has spent many years photographing Mount Fuji as one of his lifelong pursuits. Among these works, one particularly memorable piece is "Red Dragon," captured in February 2006 during the harsh winter season while he waited for sunrise on the frozen surface of Lake Shoji.

In this extraordinary image, a vivid red cloud rising from the base of Mount Fuji takes the shape of a dragon, creating a fantastical and mystical scene. The photograph has been highly acclaimed for its ethereal quality and has been collected by art lovers and collectors both in Japan and overseas as an original print.

This experience marked the beginning of a new thematic focus in his work—capturing mystical and dreamlike clouds as subjects of photographic exploration.
